With over 15 years of experience in banking and finance, Matt has developed deep expertise in home and commercial lending. His career spans roles at Westpac, Heartland Bank, and Macquarie Bank in Australia, where he worked with both individuals and businesses. His experience has shown him how to create effective financial solutions that meet each client's unique needs.
Upon returning to New Zealand with his young family, Matt settled in Auckland’s Hibiscus Coast. Here, he founded Optimise Finance with the clear goal of supporting ambitious Kiwis and fostering the growth of local businesses. Matt believes New Zealand has immense potential and is excited to provide financial solutions that help people and companies achieve meaningful and long-term success.
In addition to running Optimise Finance, Matt contributes his expertise to Chaperon, a specialist firm that supports businesses in negotiating and improving their banking relationships. His dual roles allow him to stay closely connected to both personal and business finance, offering a well-rounded perspective to his clients.
